WARRANTY POLICY
1. Purpose
This Warranty Policy explains the warranty provided by Adila Jewels ("Adila", "we", "our", or "us") for eligible Products purchased through our official sales channels.
This Policy should be read together with our:
- Terms & Conditions
- Terms of Sale
- Return & Refund Policy
- Product Care Policy
2. Our Commitment
At Adila, we are committed to creating jewellery with careful craftsmanship and quality materials.
If an eligible Product develops a manufacturing defect during the applicable warranty period, we will assess the Product and, where appropriate, provide a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
3. Scope of Warranty
This Warranty applies only to manufacturing defects identified during the applicable warranty period.
The Warranty is intended to address defects arising from the manufacturing process and does not operate as insurance against accidental loss or damage.
4. Warranty Coverage
Subject to inspection, this Warranty may cover manufacturing defects such as:
- defective soldering;
- faulty clasps;
- manufacturing defects in chain links;
- defective stone setting;
- manufacturing-related structural defects;
- defects in craftsmanship identified during the warranty period.
Coverage will always depend on inspection by Adila.
5. Warranty Period
The applicable warranty period for each Product will be stated on the relevant Product page or communicated at the time of purchase.
Where no specific warranty period is stated, no warranty period should be implied beyond any rights available under applicable law.
Customers should retain their invoice as proof of purchase.
6. Proof of Purchase
To make a warranty claim, customers may be required to provide:
- Original invoice or order confirmation;
- Order Number;
- Photographs or videos of the Product where reasonably requested;
- authenticity certificate (where applicable);
- any other information reasonably necessary to assess the claim.
7. Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, customers should contact Adila Customer Support with the required information.
Following receipt of the claim, Adila may:
- request additional information;
- arrange inspection of the Product;
- arrange collection of the Product;
- request that the Product be shipped to an authorised inspection location.
Submission of a warranty claim does not automatically establish that the Product is covered under this Warranty.
8. Inspection
Every warranty claim is subject to inspection by Adila.
Inspection may include assessment of:
- manufacturing quality;
- stone setting;
- structural integrity;
- evidence of accidental damage;
- signs of misuse;
- unauthorised repairs;
- alterations;
- normal wear and tear.
The outcome of the inspection will determine whether the claim qualifies under this Policy.
9. Warranty Remedies
Where a claim is approved, Adila may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:
- repair the Product;
- replace the Product with the same or a substantially similar Product;
- replace the affected component;
- provide another appropriate remedy.
The choice of remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, product availability and the practicality of repair or replacement.
10. Replacement Products
Where replacement is approved:
- the original Product shall ordinarily become the property of Adila;
- replacement Products may differ slightly where the original Product has been discontinued or where minor manufacturing variations exist;
- replacement is subject to product availability.
Where an identical Product is unavailable, Adila may offer a substantially similar Product of comparable value or another appropriate remedy.
11. Repair Time
Repair timelines depend upon:
- the nature of the defect;
- availability of materials;
- availability of replacement components;
- logistics;
- workload at the service centre.
Customers will be informed of the estimated repair timeline after inspection.
12. Shipping for Warranty Claims
Where a warranty claim is accepted, Adila will advise the customer regarding the shipping or collection process.
Responsibility for shipping costs will depend on:
- the nature of the claim;
- the inspection findings;
- the applicable warranty terms;
- the customer's location.
Any applicable shipping arrangements will be communicated before the Product is returned for inspection or repair.
13. What Is Not Covered
Unless expressly stated otherwise by Adila, this Warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear;
- scratches or surface marks arising from regular use;
- dents, bends or deformation caused by impact;
- accidental damage;
- loss or theft of the Product;
- damage caused by misuse or negligence;
- damage caused by improper storage;
- damage caused by exposure to chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics or cleaning agents;
- damage caused by swimming, sports, gym activities or other inappropriate use;
- damage resulting from fire, flood or other external events;
- damage caused by unauthorised repairs, alterations or resizing;
- loss of stones resulting from accidental impact or improper handling;
- fading or wear of gold plating due to normal use;
- natural oxidation or tarnishing of sterling silver;
- damage caused by failure to follow the Product Care Policy.
14. Normal Wear and Tear
Jewellery is intended to be worn and enjoyed.
Over time, normal use may naturally result in:
- minor scratches;
- reduction in polish;
- gradual wear of plating;
- natural oxidation of silver;
- slight loosening of moving components due to prolonged use.
These changes are considered normal wear and are not manufacturing defects.
15. Gold Plating
Gold-plated jewellery is coated with a layer of gold over sterling silver.
The lifespan of the plating depends on several factors, including:
- frequency of wear;
- contact with skin chemistry;
- exposure to perfumes, lotions or chemicals;
- storage conditions;
- cleaning methods.
Gradual fading or wear of gold plating resulting from normal use is not considered a manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered under this Warranty.
Where replating services are offered by Adila, they may be available as a paid after-sales service.
16. Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a precious metal that may naturally oxidise over time.
Oxidation or tarnishing is a normal characteristic of sterling silver and does not indicate a manufacturing defect.
Regular cleaning and proper storage in accordance with the Product Care Policy will help maintain the appearance of your jewellery.
17. Gemstones and Moissanite
Natural gemstones and moissanite are durable materials but may still be damaged if subjected to excessive force or improper use.
This Warranty does not cover:
- chipped stones;
- cracked stones;
- broken stones;
- scratched stones;
- stones lost due to accidental impact or misuse.
Where inspection determines that a stone became loose or detached solely because of a manufacturing defect in the setting, Adila may provide an appropriate remedy under this Warranty.
18. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty eligibility, customers should:
- use jewellery with reasonable care;
- follow the Product Care Policy;
- avoid unnecessary exposure to chemicals;
- remove jewellery before strenuous physical activity;
- store jewellery appropriately when not in use;
- avoid unauthorised repairs or alterations;
- promptly report any suspected manufacturing defect.
Failure to follow reasonable care instructions may affect warranty eligibility.
19. Unauthorised Repairs
Any repair, alteration, resizing or modification carried out by a person other than Adila or its authorised service provider may void this Warranty to the extent that such work affects the Product or the claimed defect.
20. Replacement Components
Where a repair requires replacement components, Adila may use:
- identical components;
- equivalent components; or
- components of comparable quality and specification.
Minor differences arising from manufacturing updates shall not affect warranty coverage.
21. Products Discontinued After Purchase
If the original Product or component is no longer available, Adila may, at its discretion:
- repair the Product using suitable replacement components;
- replace it with a substantially similar Product;
- offer another reasonable solution.
Such replacement shall not constitute an admission that the original Product was defective beyond the approved warranty claim.
22. Warranty Does Not Extend the Original Period
A repaired or replaced Product shall continue to be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period, unless Adila expressly provides otherwise in writing.
The provision of a repair or replacement does not create a new warranty period.
23. Service Charges
Where inspection determines that the issue is not covered under this Warranty, Adila may offer repair or servicing on a chargeable basis, subject to:
- availability of parts;
- technical feasibility; and
- customer approval of the estimated charges.
No paid repair work will commence without the customer's consent.
24. Refusal of Warranty Claims
Adila may decline a warranty claim where inspection reasonably determines that:
- the issue is not a manufacturing defect;
- the Product has been misused;
- the Product has been altered or repaired by an unauthorised person;
- the damage resulted from accidental impact or improper handling;
- sufficient information reasonably required to assess the claim is not provided.
Where a claim is declined, Adila will communicate the reasons for its decision.
25. Customer Cooperation
Customers are expected to cooperate during the warranty process by:
- providing accurate information;
- supplying requested documentation;
- securely packaging Products returned for inspection;
- responding to reasonable requests for additional information.
Such cooperation assists in the efficient assessment and resolution of warranty claims.
26. International Warranty Claims
Where Adila offers international shipping, warranty claims from customers outside India may be accepted subject to this Warranty Policy.
For international warranty claims:
- customers may be responsible for shipping the Product to an inspection location designated by Adila;
- customs duties, import taxes or similar governmental charges associated with returning or re-importing the Product may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing;
- repair or replacement timelines may be longer due to international logistics and customs procedures.
27. Limitation of Warranty
This Warranty:
- applies only to eligible Products purchased through Adila's official sales channels;
- applies only to manufacturing defects covered under this Policy;
- does not constitute an insurance policy;
- does not guarantee that jewellery will remain free from normal wear, accidental damage or ageing.
Except as expressly provided in this Warranty or required under applicable law, no additional warranty shall be implied.
28. Availability of Spare Components
Repairs and replacements remain subject to:
- availability of replacement components;
- availability of raw materials;
- manufacturing feasibility;
- the condition of the returned Product.
Where identical components are unavailable, Adila may use components of equivalent quality and specification or offer another appropriate remedy.
29. Limitation of Repairs
Certain Products may not be capable of safe or practical repair due to:
- the nature of the damage;
- structural integrity;
- discontinued components;
- technical limitations.
Where repair is not reasonably possible, Adila may determine another appropriate resolution in accordance with this Warranty and applicable law.
30. Customer Satisfaction
Adila values long-term customer relationships and strives to resolve warranty claims fairly and transparently.
Where a situation is not expressly covered by this Warranty, Adila may consider an appropriate solution after taking into account:
- the nature of the issue;
- inspection findings;
- the age of the Product;
- applicable law;
- fairness to both parties.
Nothing in this clause creates a legal obligation to provide remedies beyond those required by applicable law or expressly provided under this Warranty.
31. Consumer Rights
Nothing contained in this Warranty Policy excludes, restricts or limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian law.
Where any provision of this Warranty conflicts with mandatory legal requirements, the applicable law shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.
32. Force Majeure
Adila shall not be responsible for delays in processing warranty claims, repairs or replacements resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- natural disasters;
- floods;
- earthquakes;
- fires;
- pandemics or epidemics;
- war;
- civil unrest;
- government restrictions;
- transport disruptions;
- strikes;
- cyber incidents;
- internet outages;
- failures of third-party logistics providers;
- shortages of materials or components.
Where reasonably practicable, Adila will resume performance once normal operations are restored.

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
34. Jurisdiction
Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, disputes arising under this Warranty Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and authorities having jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Nothing in this clause prevents consumers from exercising any statutory rights regarding the appropriate forum for dispute resolution.
35. Changes to this Warranty Policy
Adila may amend this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect:
- changes in business operations;
- improvements in after-sales services;
- legal or regulatory developments;
